Habagat to bring widespread rains as typhoon exits PH - Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat , will continue to bring heavy rains to large parts of the country, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 p.m. weather advisory on Saturday, July 11, that monsoon rains are expected over Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, occasional rains are also expected to prevail over the following areas due to habagat:
The weather bureau also reported that the southwest monsoon may bring gloomy skies with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas.
The rest of Mindanao may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with occasional rains due to habagat.
