The Telangana government has approved a revised ₹368-crore Package-I for major traffic improvement works at the NFCL and TV9 junctions in Banjara Hills by reallocating ₹158 crore from the proposed Wipro Junction grade separator project, which has been dropped from Package-II.
The decision ratifies action already taken by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to redesign the projects based on updated traffic studies and technical reviews aimed at creating a conflict-free corridor between NFCL Junction and Allwyn Cross Roads, an order posted on Wednesday says.
