Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s partner and the father of her daughter has died on his 34th birthday.
A source close to the family told People that Ken Urker was found unresponsive by a family member at a Louisiana home on October 1.
Captain Brennan Matherne, of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, confirmed to Variety that deputies had been called to a home in Raceland, Louisiana, at 6.15pm.
“Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation.”
According to People, Blanchard told the outlet she believed he had overdosed, saying, “I don’t know if it was intentional or not”.
She said she was in “disbelief” and had no words for the depth of her loss.
