A 30-year-old gym instructor was arrested by M.K.B. Nagar police for allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill his 28-year-old relative after she stopped speaking to him following a dispute.
The accused has been identified as Sudhakar, 30, of Netaji Nagar in Tondiarpet. According to the police, the woman, who works at a private company in M.K.B. Nagar, had been in a relationship with Sudhakar. Around two months ago, the two had a dispute, following which their families intervened and settled the issue. The woman subsequently stopped communicating with him.
