GWM PH tests range, efficiency of its models in new fuel-eco run

GWM Philippines recently concluded its ‘Go 1000 More’ fuel economy run , a two-day challenge validated by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP). The challenge featured three of the Chinese brand’s models—the Cannon Lux 4x4 , the Haval H9 Lux 4x4 , and the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV —attempting to cover a 1,000km+ route on a single tank of fuel. The Haval H7 PHEV also started with a fully charged battery.

The convoy took off from Nuvali in Santa Rosa, Laguna , and headed north to Laoag, Ilocos Norte , before doubling back to the starting point. The GWM vehicles traveled on different road types, including expressways, provincial highways, and city roads. The weather also fluctuated from clear conditions to heavy rain several times along the drive.
