GVMC steps up preparations for corporation elections

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Thursday directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan for the forthcoming corporation elections and complete all arrangements well in advance.
At a review meeting held at the GVMC, Mr. Garg asked officials to follow the orders and guidelines issued by the State government and the State Election Commission. He directed the Chief City Planner and Zonal Commissioners to examine objections and grievances relating to ward expansion and delimitation and take action as per the prescribed rules.
