GVMC Commissioner orders completion of median, beautification works within a month ahead of CII Summit
The GVMC Commissioner has ordered the completion of city beautification and infrastructure projects within one month. These upgrades are being fast-tracked in preparation for the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Tuesday inspected the central median development works being taken up from Dutt Highland Junction to Polamamba Temple in Siripuram.
Mr. Garg said the State government had recently allocated ₹400 crore under a special package for the comprehensive development of the city. The funds would be utilised for the development of major roads, central medians and dividers, greenery, modernisation of junctions, installation of modern lighting and other development and beautification works across the city.
