The main accused in the Gurugram hit-and-run case, Kalyan Bainsla, was returning from a party with his three friends when he chased a woman biker for 2 km on Golf Course Road before hitting her motorcycle, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) sources said on Thursday.

According to the SIT, Mr. Kalyan, who was driving the car, and his three friends had been at Empire Club Bar and Lounge in Sector 25 between midnight and 5 a.m. on the intervening night of September 13 and 14, the sources said. His friend, Mr. Lavnish, was seated in the passenger seat at the time of the incident.
