GURGAON: A 32-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was beaten to death with an iron rod and an awl by a cabbie in the city’s busiest office district after a fight over who should give way.The assault unfolded in full public view in Udyog Vihar phase V on Monday evening, when the victim’s family alleged that passersby stopped to watch but did not intervene. They also claimed Arvind Kumar lay bleeding on the road before a commuter arranged an auto and rushed him to hospital.Arvind, who was from Rae Bareilly in UP but lived in Jharsa, died from severe head injuries. Dalip Kumar (32), a cab driver from Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, was arrested and an FIR was registered against him for murder.According to police, the incident took place around 8.30pm on an internal road in Udyog Vihar.
