Guntur police launch anti-drug awareness ad film
Guntur police have launched an anti-drug awareness advertisement titled 'Drugs Vaddu Bidda' to educate youth and parents about the dangers of substance abuse. The initiative is part of a broader campaign that includes intensified enforcement against drug trafficking and community sensitization programs.

The Guntur police on Tuesday launched a preview of a two-minute awareness advertisement, “Drugs Vaddu Bidda – A Battle Against Drugs”, at Maitri Cinema Complex in Nagarampalem.
Rajya Sabha member Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal switched on the film, which seeks to create awareness among students and youth about the dangers of drug abuse and encourages parents to monitor their children’s behaviour, habits and friendships.
The advertisement was produced with the encouragement of Mr. Jindal and directed by Dileep Raja. Senior actor Narasimharaju and other artistes participated in the film. Mr. Raja thanked the SP for supporting the initiative, while Mr. Narasimharaju said he was happy to contribute to the campaign.
Mr. Ramakrishna appreciated Mr. Jindal’s efforts to protect the youth and curb drug abuse. The SP said the advertisement would be screened in cinemas and promoted through social media after obtaining the necessary permissions.
