GTA 6's gameplay reveal pulled in 3.97 million peak viewers, overwhelming Twitch and Netflix in the process

That's according to new data from Streams Charts , which claims 9,038 streamers covered Rockstar Games ' Netflix reveal, racking up 5,227,798 hours watched.
That puts GTA 6's reveal ahead of Summer Game Fest 2026's 3.81 million peak viewers, as well as June's Nintendo Direct and State of Play broadcasts. Twitch carried the largest share of the audience, accounting for around 44 percent of total hours watched, ahead of YouTube (34.8% percent) and Kick (20.2 percent).
Spanish streamer Juan Alberto "IlloJuan" Garc a led the way with 233,520 peak viewers, a new record for his own channel, ahead of Rubius (191,056) and IShowSpeed (177,887).
