Group attacks ticket checking staff, drag TTE into train
A group of 14 individuals assaulted two ticket-checking staff members at the Hazur Sahib Nanded railway station. Ten suspects were detained after the incident, which occurred as the Marathwada Express was departing.

A group of 14 persons allegedly assaulted two ticket-checking staff members at Hazur Sahib Nanded railway station while passengers were boarding Train No. 17688 Marathwada Express, which was travelling from Dharmabad to Manmad.
The group allegedly attacked the on-duty ticket checking staff without provocation and dragged Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) R.K. Singh into the train. Another TTE, Jitendra Kumar, attempted to intervene but was unable to prevent the assault as the train had started moving at around 5.32 a.m. on Monday (September 28, 2026).
