A comedy festival that was expected to come to Mississauga this weekend has been abruptly cancelled.

The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival was scheduled to take place at Erindale Park, located near the University of Toronto Mississauga, from Sept. 11 to 13.

Several big names in comedy were billed for the weekend.
