NEW DELHI: BJP president Nitin Nabin on Sunday held a meeting with the party's newly appointed office-bearers to discuss its strategy for the 2027 assembly elections in seven states, including Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.The meeting at the BJP headquarters was attended by senior party functionaries, state unit presidents and state in-charges, news agency PTI reported, citing sources.According to the sources, the meeting focused on strengthening the party's grassroots outreach and its connect with young voters, particularly in states going to polls next year."It's a crucial meeting to discuss a range of organisational matters with prime focus on the party's preparations and strategy for the upcoming elections in states next year," a source told PTI.Assembly elections are due in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Himachal Pradesh in 2027. The BJP is currently in power in four of these states - Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Goa.
