The Erode All Women Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against a 46-year-old woman for allegedly sexually abusing her 12-year-old grandson.
The accused, Feroz Begum is a resident of a village in Modakkurichi taluk. Her grandson is a Class VIII student in Erode. According to the police, whenever the boy’s parents went out of town, they would leave him at his grandmother’s house. A few days ago, when his parents were preparing to leave him at the house, the boy refused to go.
