The group, who released their first album since 2020, Arirang , earlier this year, made their decision public earlier this week, with all seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, taking to Instagram to issue a joint statement.
The statement reads, “We have decided not to submit for Grammy consideration this year. We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”
BTS added, “We thank Army and everyone who has always stood by us.”
