Graham Norton has disclosed the sole demand Taylor Swift made after she was added to the line-up of his BBC chat show at short notice last October.
The global superstar appeared on The Graham Norton Show to promote her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl . Swift has previously described the programme as one of her “favourite shows”.
Her appearance drew attention at the time, with the famous red sofa appearing unusually crowded as she joined a diverse group of celebrity guests.
Speaking to GQ in a recent interview, Norton revealed the reason behind the packed seating arrangement, explaining that Swift was “a very last-minute booking”.
“The show was fully booked. So we thought, ‘We’re going to have to bump somebody.’”
