NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday warned of a fresh nationwide protest if the harassment of students by the police continues. In a post on X, Dipke said, "If the harassment of students at the hands of the police continues, the Cockroach Janta Party will respond with a massive peaceful protest soon. The Govt must stop targeting and witch-hunting students."Earlier, CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das said government representatives had shared copies of notifications issued by the Bihar and Assam governments guaranteeing withdrawal of FIRs, no future action against protesters and the release of those detained or arrested during the NEET-UG agitation.
