NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Tuesday said SC’s interim order permitting govts to continue investigation of FIRs already registered “stands in direct contradiction” of the Centre’s assurances of July 25 that cases would be withdrawn and no protester would be targeted.CJP said it was yet to receive the written agreement to this effect promised by the Centre, even as the deadline for honouring the assurances of July 25 expired Tuesday. “If harassment of students at the hands of police continues, CJP will respond with a massive peaceful protest soon.
