Govt. ITIs in Coimbatore extend last date for direct admissions for 2026-27 session till Aug. 31

Government Industrial Training Institutes in Coimbatore and Tiruppur have extended their direct admission deadlines for the 2026-27 session to August 31. The programs offer free vocational training, stipends, and placement assistance for a wide range of engineering and non-engineering trades.

Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in Coimbatore district have extended the last date for direct admissions for the unfilled seats for the 2026-27 session till August 31. Applicants have been instructed to visit the District Skill Training Office, Coimbatore, or the ITIs for direct enrolment by submitting copies of their Class 8 and SSLC mark sheets, transfer certificate, community certificate, Aadhaar Card, and passport-size photographs.
The candidates are being admitted into 30 trades, including mechanical, electrical, computer-related trades, apparel technology, drone pilot, industrial robotics, and electric vehicle technology.
Candidates who have completed classes 8, 10, 11, or 12, as well as diploma and degree holders aged between 14 and 40 years, are eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for women candidates, according to a press release.
