Deputy Floor Leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the Assembly T. Harish Rao has questioned the Congress government as to who had given it the right to grab the lands included in the prohibited list under Section 22A of the Registration Act illegally.
He made the comments while speaking to the victims of Section 22A from Tirumala Meadows, Laxmi Ganapathi Colony and Hema Nagar of Boduppal who represented their problem to him on Saturday. He alleged that about 1,500 families were living in those areas without any controversy for the last 30 years by construction houses and apartments in survey no. 215 and its parts.
