Govt hikes petrol by Rs3.34, high-speed diesel by Rs5.27 for Aug 19

PHOTO: REUTERS The federal government on Tuesday increased the price of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs3.34 and Rs5.27, respectively, for August 19.
A notification from the Petroleum Division said the petrol price was now fixed at Rs334.54 while HSD would cost Rs395.69 per litre.
The latest revision comes a day after the government increased the price of petrol and HSD by Rs5.77 and Rs6.47, respectively, for August 18.
