Govt, Grab to fund RM160mil package for e-hailing, p-hailing drivers

KUALA LUMPUR: The government and e-hailing company Grab will jointly fund a RM160 million package to increase the net income of e-hailing and p-hailing workers from 2027, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.
The package includes increasing the minimum income for some 600,000 e-hailing and p-hailing workers, assistance with vehicle maintenance costs and Socso contributions.
