Govt. benefits are rights, not charity: Keralam Minister

Keralam Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes K.A. Thulasi has said the benefits of government development and welfare schemes were constitutional rights, and not acts of charity. Speaking at a function held in Attappady to inaugurate projects completed by the Scheduled Tribe Development department and the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Attappady, the Minister said that the schemes should reach beneficiaries in a timely and transparent manner.
