Govt appoints four members to Surveyors' Registration Board
Lumumba said the surveying profession is central to land administration, physical development, infrastructure development, and the management of construction costs.“A properly constituted and effective board is, therefore, important to maintaining professional standards and protecting the public interest,” Lumumba said.

KAMPALA - The Government has appointed four new members to the Surveyors' Registration Board, in a move aimed at strengthening the regulation of Uganda's surveying profession.
The appointments were announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and National Guidance, Justine Kasule Lumumba, during a press briefing at the Uganda Media Centre.
