Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the Navaratri Golu - 2026 celebrations at Lok Bhavan in Chennai on Sunday. The ten-day celebrations, being held from October 11 to 20, showcase India’s rich spiritual, cultural and artistic heritage.
"This year’s Golu highlights the Kumbabishekam of Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, Madurai, celebrating the temple’s profound spiritual significance and its enduring place in Tamil Nadu’s cultural traditions," the Lok Bhavan said in a social media post.
