The Telangana government urged all stakeholder departments to expedite the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to facilitate the timely clearance of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II project by the Centre.
Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), Jayesh Ranjan, emphasized that these approvals are critical for securing the necessary permissions from the Centre and ensuring that the project progresses without delay. He made the remarks during a meeting held at the Secretariat with representatives of various State and Central departments that have existing, ongoing or proposed works within the influence area of the seven Phase-II corridors.
