A TOTAL of 72 verified Namibian nationals returned to Namibia on Sunday after being repatriated from Cape Town, South Africa.
This was announced by the Ministry of International Relations, which explained that this marks the first phase of the voluntary repatriation of Namibian nationals from the Republic of South Africa through a coordinated, safe and orderly process. The ministry further revealed that the verification process of additional Namibian nationals in Pretoria is continuing to facilitate subsequent phases of the voluntary repatriation programme.
