Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta said that the NDA government is giving top priority to development and welfare initiatives in Kurnool city while participating in the “Two Years of Trust – Development and Welfare” programme organised by the government at Joharapuram Telugu Geri area in Kurnool.
On the occasion, the Minister visited households to interact with residents and enquire about their issues. He assured the public that problems related to roads, drainage, and other civic amenities were being addressed in a phased manner. The Minister said funds would be sanctioned and works would be undertaken for road construction and other development projects wherever necessary.
Mr. Bharath emphasised that various development works worth crores of rupees were under way in Kurnool city and reiterated that the government’s goal was to provide better infrastructure to the people. He said that the government places equal importance on welfare alongside development.
