A total of 1,34,859 people visited the Government Exhibition 2026 held at Bose Maidan in Salem over the past 52 days. Compared with 2025, more people visited the exhibition.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Transport Minister A. Vijay Tamilan Parthiban on August 8.
A total of 26 government departments, including Salem Corporation, Rural Development, Transport Department, Tamil Development and Information, Tourism Department, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Department, Forest Department, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Police Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Health and Family Welfare Department, Cooperative Department, Revenue Department, Social Welfare Department, Horticulture Department, Public Works Department (PWD), Aavin and Women Empowerment Department, and five government-affiliated departments, exhibited stalls in the exhibition.
