Government announces award for teachers in Puducherry

The Puducherry government has honored 21 teachers with various awards to mark Teachers' Day celebrations. The recipients were recognized across primary, secondary, technical, and regional categories.

As many as 21 teachers have been selected for conferment of various awards as part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations in Puducherry.
The Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Award at primary level was given to N. Rama, K. Veerasundaram and secondary level to E. Anoussuya and P. Ravikumar alias Djeatchandirane.
While the Chief Minister’s Special Award for language teacher was given to K. Kalaichelvi, the Chief Minister’s Special Award for Women Teachers was conferred to S. Renuka, S. Manjula, P. Vanathy, R. Thamizhselvi and R. Nithia.
The Chief Minister’s Special Award for Technical Teacher was given to A. Soucoumarane. The Education Minister’s Regional Award for Puducherry was conferred on S. Janakiraman, S. Latha, V. Manjuparkavi, K. S Parvathy, J. Kaliuvaraja and R. Rajavanthiga.
