Gougane Barra church concert as part of Culture Night events next month

Rachel Lysaght More than 150 free events will take place across towns, villages and islands throughout Cork county as part of Culture Night on September 18.
This year's festival, co-ordinated by Cork County Council, features a jam-packed programme of events, with a special focus on musical talent.
Following a highly successful 2025 programme, which attracted more than 18,000 attendees, Culture Night 2026 will offer interactive family experiences alongside events that celebrate both Irish traditions and global influences.
Attendees at this year’s event can expect to immerse themselves in the richness of Cork’s artistic talent and cultural heritage, with something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
