However, it is now targeting a July launch as it spends extra time gathering feedback from early testers and tweaking the model, according to a person familiar with the matter. Google teased the new model at its I/O developer conference in May but said it wasn't quite ready . At the time, CEO Sundar Pichai said the model would launch "next month."
