Google AI Mode adds more Connected Apps, including YouTube Music
Google is expanding its AI Mode to include integrations with third-party apps like YouTube Music, Canva, and Instacart. These updates allow the AI to perform tasks like playlist creation and schedule management directly within the interface.

Today’s expansion lets AI Mode use YouTube Music to create playlists. As the answer generates, you’ll see an “Asking YouTube Music” status message. You then get an inline card with songs. There are buttons for “Add to library,” while “Play” opens YouTube Music.
