Golden Jubilee batch alumni revisit Andhra University campus
Alumni from the 1976–1978 batch of Andhra University returned to their campus to celebrate their Golden Jubilee. The group, which included several high-profile former civil servants, toured their old hostels and departments to commemorate the university's centennial year.

Alumni of the 1976–1978 batch of Andhra University, under the banner “Golden Jubilee Reunion Friends,” visited the university on Saturday. Andhra University, established in 1926, completed a century on April 26 this year.
The group included former civil servants such as P. Ramesh Kumar, former Principal Secretary, Government of West Bengal, and M.R. Vijay Kumar, former Director General of Police, Government of Meghalaya, among other noted people.
The alumni toured their former hostels at the Arts and Science Colleges, including Nagarjuna, Satavahana and Sadharma Sadan, as well as the Balayogi Research Scholars’ Hostel, before proceeding to their respective departments, where they revisited classrooms and recalled their student days.
