ISLAMABAD - The price of gold in the country witnessed a sharp increase on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs5,200 to Rs477,136 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams increased by Rs4,458 to Rs409,067, while the price of 22-karat gold for 10 grams rose by Rs4,086 to Rs374,991.
