Godzilla Minus Zero , the sequel to Takashi Yamazaki's Oscar-winning blockbuster Godzilla Minus One , will have its world premiere as the Spotlight Gala presentation at the 64th New York Film Festival.
The film will premiere at Alice Tully Hall on September 26, with Yamazaki and members of the cast and crew expected to attend. The festival, presented by Film at Lincoln Centre in partnership with Rolex, will run from September 25 to October 12.
Set in 1949, two years after the events of Godzilla Minus One , the sequel continues the story of the Shikishima family as they confront a new catastrophe in post-World War II Japan.
