Godrej Industries to invest ₹20,000 cr in Haryana, aims 40,000 jobs; total investments to touch ₹32,000 cr

Godrej Industries Group has signed an MoU to invest ₹20,000 crore in Haryana, building on its existing presence in the state. The investment aims to create 40,000 jobs and expand the group's real estate and commercial infrastructure footprint.

Godrej Industries Group is planning to invest as much as ₹20,000 crore in Haryana, through which it is expected to create nearly 40,000 jobs.
The planned investment, for which it entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Government, would build on the Group’s existing presence in Haryana, where it has invested approximately ₹12,000 crore to date.
Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) is expected to be a key driver of the Group’s expansion, with plans to invest ₹16,000 crore in Haryana by FY28. The real estate developer has already invested around ₹11,000 crore in the state.
GPL currently has 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra. Its future expansion plans are expected to extend beyond residential development.
