The Ghana Muslim Mission Women's Fellowship (GMMWF), Greater Accra, has inaugurated a new executive body to steer the affairs of the Fellowship for the next term.
The executives were sworn into office at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Greater Accra Regional Conference of the Fellowship, held on the theme: "Empowering Muslim Women through Faith, Knowledge and Community Engagement."
Administering the oath of office, Sheikh Ahmed Adjei Adjetey, Regional Imam of the Ghana Muslim Mission (GMM), reminded the new executives that their positions represented a sacred trust, "Amaanah," which they must discharge with sincerity and dedication.
The new officers are Mrs Yesmin Oblitey, Chairperson; Mrs Mariam Uthman, Vice Chairperson; Mrs Khadija Armah, Secretary; Mrs Ayishatu Balugun, Vice Secretary; Mrs Beliqisu Bentum, Treasurer; and Mrs Rukiyatu Ocquaye, Financial Secretary.
