The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has released its weather forecast for Friday, August 7, 2026, warning of mist, fog and isolated rain across several parts of the country, with rough sea conditions also anticipated along the coast.

GMet noted that early morning mist and fog patches will be widespread over coastal, forest and mountainous zones under mostly cloudy skies.

A large number of towns in the south will experience misty conditions, including Aflao, Ho, Kasoa, Winneba, Cape Coast , Takoradi, Axim, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kwahu Tafo, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa and Sefwi Bekwai. Slight rain is forecast specifically for Anloga and Accra during the morning hours.
