Glastonbury coach tickets oversold in admin error

An administrative error by See Tickets resulted in coach packages to the Glastonbury Festival being oversold. Affected customers will not lose their access, as their bookings will automatically be converted to general admission tickets with a full refund of the coach fare.
Why it matters
Glastonbury is one of the world's most high-profile music festivals, and ticketing mishaps cause significant anxiety for attendees who secured spots during highly competitive sales.

An administrative error resulted in coach journeys to the Glastonbury Festival being oversold through its official ticketing partner.
More coach package tickets were sold for certain departures than there are seats available, according to an email See Tickets sent to customers.
Those affected will not lose their tickets however. Instead, their booking will automatically be converted into a general admission ticket and the coach fare will be refunded.
The ticketing agency declined to comment further, but the BBC understands Glastonbury Festival was not responsible for the error.
Glastonbury coach ticket prices range from £26 to £185 - on top of general admission - depending on the departure town or city and whether it is a single or return journey.
