GHAZIABAD: Three people were seriously injured after a speeding car allegedly ploughed into them at a petrol pump near Silver City on GT Road in the Kotwali area on Sunday night, following an argument over the vehicle being parked incorrectly for refuelling.The accused driver, identified as Deepu, was arrested on Monday, police said. The car, a white Maruti Swift, has also been seized.CCTV footage from the petrol pump purportedly shows the car crashing into a group of people before speeding away from the spot. The impact was so severe that one of the victims was thrown nearly five feet into the air.According to the complaint filed by the petrol pump manager, Anurag Chaudhary, a group of allegedly intoxicated youths arrived at the pump shortly after 10pm on Sunday.
