Ghana minority leader urges youth to speak out against injustice

He spoke on September 21 at the NELEF 2026 National Economic Forum of Young Leaders.
Afenyo-Markin said that civic space in Ghana is coming under increasing pressure, while freedom of speech and the right to express opinions, enshrined in the 1992 Constitution, are being restricted. He stressed that silence in the face of injustice cannot be the foundation of a free society.
