Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (Gescom) has made arrangements to ensure safe and uninterrupted power supply during Ganesha Chaturthi festival across Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Bidar, Raichur, Koppal, Ballari, and Vijayanagara districts.

Gescom chairman Praveen Patil Harawal, in a media note on Tuesday, said the company’s senior officials and operation and maintenance (O&M) staff would remain accessible to the public and Ganesha Utsav Samitis throughout the festival.

He said that festival organisers could approach Gescom officials for temporary power connections, technical assistance and safety inspections, and promised that the arrangements would be supervised by senior officials.
