The son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber died at 27 in a rehabilitation center on Sept. 20 in Simi Valley, California, about 40 miles west of Los Angeles.
At the 2026 Albies awards ceremony in the United Kingdom on Oct. 9, the "Ocean's Eleven" actor was asked how the family hoped to honor Gerber's legacy.
"I don't think we're even in the position of being able to talk about it," Clooney told Entertainment Tonight at the Natural History Museum in London alongside Amal Clooney . "Quite honestly, it's one of the most devastating things that's happened to our family."
He continued: "And their family is just, as you can imagine. It's the worst thing that could ever happen to a family."
