When asked about recent rumors that an ex-royal may join Season 3 of the Netflix show, the actor told Town & Country , “Yes, Fergie is joining.”
The “Divergent” star, 41, quipped on Wednesday that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, would “be playing [his] love interest.”
James went on to call the speculation “mainly a lot of hot air.”
He told the outlet, “At the moment, we’re just trying to get as many eyes on Season 2, and then Season 3 will happen soon.”
The second season of the show will premiere Thursday — and Page Six recently confirmed the series, which first aired in March 2024, has been renewed for a third installment.
