Gemini for Home now knows when to stop talking
Google has released an update for Gemini for Home that improves how the assistant handles conversation endings. Users can now say 'stop' to immediately silence the device without a verbal response, or 'thank you' for a polite sign-off.
Why it matters
This update addresses common user frustrations regarding voice assistant verbosity and improves the natural flow of human-AI interaction in smart home environments.
