GdS: Milan thrilled as Ramos uses international break to revive his goalscoring

AC Milan striker Goncalo Ramos has found a scoring rhythm during the international break, netting goals for his national team. His recent performance has solidified his standing with both his national coach and his club, Milan.
Why it matters
Player form during international breaks is a key indicator for club performance and transfer market valuation in professional football.
For Goncalo Ramos, the international break has been just the revival he was looking for on the goalscoring front, and AC Milan are now eager to have him back.
As highlighted by today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see image at the bottom), Ramos has scored more during the international break than in the rest of the season. One goal against Norway and one goal against Denmark, as opposed to the single goal against Venezia.
