GCC removes over 2,300 kg of used tyres, unused articles

The Greater Chennai Corporation’s (GCC) Public Health Vector Control Department has removed 547.8 kg of used tyres and 1,773.6 kg of unused articles across its 15 zones, according to a press release.

The highest quantity of used tyres, at 135.5 kg, was removed from the Teynampet Zone, while Ambattur Zone recorded the highest quantity of unused articles removed at 208 kg, the release said.
