GBA urges large participation for ‘Bengaluru Hasiruru’ campaign
The Greater Bengaluru Authority has launched the 'Bengaluru Hasiruru' campaign, aiming to plant 60,000 saplings across the city starting August 15. Officials are coordinating with Residents Welfare Associations to ensure community participation and long-term maintenance of the greenery.
M. Maheshwar Rao, Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), on Saturday urged citizens and Residents Welfare Associations (RWAs) to actively participate in the ‘Bengaluru Hasiruru’ campaign and help transform it into a people’s movement.
